How to Prepare Your Quilt Top and Backing
Your Quilt Backing Must Be:
- At least 8 inches longer and wider than the quilt top (4" per side)
- Squared up (cut all 4 corners straight)
- If piecing the back, horizontal seam is preferred
Your quilt top must be:
- Squared up
- Pressed and free of lint and thread
